Private detectives will be hired to keep a check on the rise in corruption in the excise department. Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister of State Excise visited Ralegan Siddhi on Wednesday to meet Anna Hazare. Bawankule after his stint with Anna Hazare has sought for private detectives to keep a tab on the brickbats in the excise department.
While speaking to Mumbai Live in regard to the matter Bawankule stated that few senior officers are also involved in the selling of illegal liquor. They must change their attitude or else their properties will be seized. When asked about bringing the private detectives in force in Ralegan Siddhi, he told that his statement has been taken otherwise.
