Mulund- Abhijit Chavhan is contesting as an independent candidate from ward no. 106 after getting hostile with NCP party. However, after severing ties with NCP, on Saturday he met Sharad Pawar, NCP chief. This led to various speculations in the political circles.
Abhijit was keen in contesting from ward no. 106 but he was overlooked and Nandkumar Vaiti was given the ticket. This enraged Abhijit who then chose to contest solo. “I met Sharad Pawar to discuss on BMC and other issues,” clarified Chavhan.
