Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis strongly reacted to criticism surrounding the state’s Davos investment outreach, alleging that a “paid toolkit” campaign is being used to deliberately tarnish the initiative.
Speaking on the issue, CM Fadnavis said that misleading narratives are being circulated to undermine Maharashtra’s efforts to attract global investment and create employment opportunities. He asserted that the Davos roadshow was aimed at showcasing the state’s industrial potential and strengthening investor confidence.
The Chief Minister accused certain vested interests of spreading false information to create doubts about the investment drive, adding that such attempts would not derail the government’s development agenda. He maintained that transparency and long-term economic growth remain the core objectives of the Davos campaign.
Fadnavis further said the state government would continue its investment-focused initiatives despite the criticism and urged people not to fall prey to sponsored misinformation intended to damage Maharashtra’s global image.
