Congress MLA Kalidas Kolambkar spotted at PM Modi’s rally in Mumbai

Congress MLA from Wadala assembly constituency, Kalidas Kolambkar on Friday evening was seen at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai. In the rally, PM Modi addressed the gathering ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha poll in the city which is scheduled on April 29. 

Earlier, the Congress MLA was also seen along with Shiv Sena candidate Rahul Shewale during the latter’s campaign. Shewale is contesting LS poll from Mumbai South-Central constituency. Prior to this, Shewale also visited Kolambkar at his office. The Congress MLA had earlier expressed his disappointment with the party while openly praising Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. 

While talking to the media after Modi’s rally concluded, Kolambkar yet again expressed his discontent with the Congress party saying that he will support those who work and was here to listen to such people.

Kolambkar, who has been elected as an MLA for six times, is known as a massive supporter of Narayan Rane. Kolambkar was earlier in Shiv Sena but joined Congress after Rane left. As this happened, Congress and Opposition leader in Maharashtra, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil also resigned from the party on Friday.
