Ahead of the upcoming 2019 general elections, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday will address party workers at MMRDA ground in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). Gandhi is expected to reach the ground around 5:00 in the evening.

With the ongoing internal conflict in Mumbai Congress, Rahul Gandhi’s visit is of grave importance. It is being said the Congress President may ask the party workers and leaders to work together.

In order to welcome Rahul Gandhi, Congress’ Mumbai unit has also organised a motorcycle rally at 3:00 in the afternoon. Congress informed that more than one thousand motorcycles will participate in the same. The riders will start their rally from Andheri (W) to MMRDA ground carrying party’s flag and Rahul’s poster.

Earlier, Maharashtra Congress President Ashok Chavan informed that the Congress was denied permission to hold the rally in Shivaji Park. Thus, the rally is being organised at MMRDA ground.
