Two former chief ministers of Maharashtra and a former minister were seen in a police van after their detention during the Congress party’s protest agitation against demonetization. Former chief ministers - Narayan Rane and Ashok Chavan – and former minister Harshvardhan Patil were arrested as a precautionary measure while they were protesting at the RBI headquarters here. City Congress president Sanjay Nirupam also accompanied these leaders.
