Mumbai: Congress to protest on November 30 over rising electricity bills

Amid the increasing electricity bills, Mumbai Congress is planning to carry out protests across the city on November 30. The demonstrations against Adani Electricity and the central government will be carried out outside 15 different railway stations in the city.

Mumbai Congress President Sanjay Nirupam announced the same on Monday and informed that the protests will be carried out under the leadership of Women Congress. The women activists will protest against the increasing price of electricity and cooking gas. 

Earlier, Nirupam had revealed that the fixed charges were increased while comparing two bills from earlier and now. He also informed that the Fuel Adjustment Charge rate, Wheeling Charges, Energy charges per unit were increased too.
