Andheri - Congress corporator from ward number - 31, Parminder Bhamra had joined the Bharatiya Janta Party four days ago, quitting the party he had been associated with for a long time.
In a quick about turn, however, Bhamra returned to the Congress at 3.30 pm today. The prodigal son was welcomed back to the party in a ceremony that took place at Mumbai Congress President Sanjay Nirupam's house. Present to welcome him back were Aslam Sheikh, Nirav Majithia, Sarvesh Jaiswal and other party workers.
One hopes this is for keeps now.
