Byculla - A meeting was organised by MIM at Nagpada junction. MIM chief and MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi addressed to people. This meeting was organised in the wake of forthcoming BMC elections. Owaisi gave orders to party workers to be fully prepared for BMC elections.
While speaking here he said, BMC budget is worth Rs 37000crores. the population of Muslims in Mumbai is around 21% so Rs 7,770 crores should have been spent on their development which did not happen. We will make necessary provisions in this regard if elected, said Owaisi. He further criticised state government for Rs 3500 crores proposed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj memorial. Other dignitaries of MIM were also present at this meeting.
