CM Fadnavis’ assurances are a lie: Dhangar Kruti Samiti

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday night called a meeting to discuss the requirement of reservation for the Dhangar community. 

To this, Dhangar Kruti Samiti (DKS) officer Avinash Padalkar accused the Chief Minister of falsely assuring reservation for the community. He said that no member from DKS was present or invited for the meeting. 

Padalkar informed that only people from Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were present at the meeting including a few people from Congress and BJP.

Of the 35 people present at the meeting, not even one member from Dhangar Kruti Samiti was invited. Maharashtra government has not taken any firm decision in this matter. To protest against the government, DKC will hold a meeting in Pune on September 2,” DKS chief Avinash Padalkar.
