Mulund – Expressing doubt over the victory of BJP candidates in the area, a huge morch of all parties was taken out in Mulund on Tuesday. The morcha was started from Mulund Railway Station and ended at T-Ward office.
The BJP has won all the six seats in Mulund area. The candidates who received defeat in the BMC election have alleged that the BJP has managed the EVMs to win this election.
MNS candidate Sujata Pathak alleged that the BJP’s win in BMC election is doubtful while another MNS candidate, Namita Jadhav, demanded reelection. Congress candidate Jagdish Shetty also held the BJP responsible for wrongs allegedly happened with the EVMs.
All these defeated candidates and their supporters later submitted their memorandum to assistant municipal commissioner Prashant Sapkale and warned of severe agitation if their demand for re-election is not taken seriously.
