Former Kalyan-Dombivli Standing Committee President Vikas Mhatre resigns from BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suffered a big setback in Dombivali. Former Standing Committee Chairman of Kalyan-Dombivli Vikas Mhatre has resigned from the post of BJP member. Mhatre has resigned along with his wife Kavita and office bearers of two wards.

Vikas Mhatre has left BJP saying that development work is not being done and funds are not being received. Vikas Mhatre's decision has sparked discussion in political circles. Vikas Mhatre has left BJP by giving information in a letter. It is being said that Mhatre's decision to leave the party has dealt a big blow to BJP before the elections. He has expressed regret that when he is in power at the Centre and the State, he has to face the anger of the citizens due to lack of development work.

Rift between Shinde group and BJP

There is a clash between Shiv Sena Shinde faction and BJP in Kalyan Dombivali. Now it has been seen that Public Works Minister Ravindra Chavan is unhappy with BJP on Dombivali seat. Vikas Mhatre, former KDMC president and former corporator of Garibacha Pada and Rajunagar ward of Dombivali West, often lamented the lack of development work in the ward.

Finally, former standing committee president Vikas Mhatre, his wife Kavita Mhatre and BJP office-bearers from Raju Nagar and Garibacha Wada ward have resigned as BJP members.
