Mumbai - The State Election Commission has held state’s animal husbandry, milk and fisheries minister Mahadev Jankar guilty of pressuring the election officer of the Desaiganj municipal council in Gadchiroli district. The Commission in its report has clearly stated that cabinet minister Mahadev Jankar has misused his position to exert pressure on the election officer and asked him to allot a special sign for the Desaiganj municipal council election. It is to be mentioned here that chief minister had given a clean chit to Jankar even before the report of the Commission. A complaint in this regard was registered with the commission.
