Lok Sabha Election 2024: Election Commission announces date

The Election Commission has announced Lok Sabha election 2024 dates in a press conference.

The second phase of Lok Sabha elections will be held in Maharashtra in 2024. Accordingly, elections will be held in five phases in Maharashtra. The fifth phase of voting will be held in Mumbai and the voting process will be completed on May 20.

Elections will be held on May 20 in Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Palghar, Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Thane, Mumbai North, Mumbai North West, Mumbai North East, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai South Central, and Mumbai South (Total constituencies – 13).

Elections will be held in a total five phases in Maharashtra.

  • Phase 1 - April 19 
  • Phase II - April 26 
  • Third phase - May 7 
  • Fourth Phase - May 13 
  • Fifth Phase - May 20

Lok Sabha Election 2024 Dates: 

First Phase : Voting- April 19 : Ramtek, Nagpur, Bhandara-Gondia, Gadchiroli-Chimur, Chandrapur (5 in Vidarbha) 

Second Phase : Voting- April 26 : Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Yavatmal-Washim, Hingoli, Nanded, Parbhani (Total Constituencies – 8)

Third Phase: Voting- May 7: Raigad, Baramati, Dharashiv, Latur, Solapur, Madha, Sangli, Satara, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Kolhapur, Hatkanangle (Total constituencies - 11) 

Fourth Phase : May 13 : Nanded, Jalgaon, Raver, Jalna, Aurangabad, Maval, Pune, Shirur, Ahmednagar, Shirdi, Beed (Total constituencies -11 )

Fifth Phase: May 20: Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Palghar, Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Thane, Mumbai North, Mumbai North West, Mumbai North East, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai South Central, and Mumbai South (Total Constituencies - 13).
