The state witnessed 57 per cent voter turnout for Phase 4, in comparison to the 55.58 per cent observed in 2014. More than 3 Crore people in the state voted at 33,314 polling stations. Comprising the four phases Maharashtra had a voter turnout of 61 per cent.

This year, the per cent of voters was the same as the per cent of voters in 2014. Out of the 8.85 crore voters, 5.37 voters cast their vote.

On April 29, voters from Mumbai cast their votes in the final phase of polling in Maharashtra for the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Voters from six Mumbai constituencies along with Bhiwandi, Thane, and Kalyan voted at their respective booths.
Earlier, at 1:00 pm there was a voter turnout of 32.53 per cent from Mumbai North, 29. 84 per cent from Mumbai North West, 30.59 per cent from Mumbai North East, 19.97 per cent from Mumbai North Central, 28.11 per cent from Mumbai South Central, and 27.13 per cent from Mumbai South.
Mumbai witnessed a low voter turnout during the early hours but gradually as the day went by, the per cent of voters arriving at the polling booths began rising.

Meanwhile, the Palghar constituency witnessed a shocking case where the name of one woman voter had been mentioned 68 times in the list. Questions were raised regarding the same, where it was noted that some names had been registered more than three times. Moreover, officials from BVA have mentioned that the names of around 60,000 voters have been duplicated in the voter list, where Shiv Sena has claimed that names of 56,000 voters have been duplicated.
While there were no incidents that disrupted the process, many voters had to face some problems at Borivali and Dombivli. The voters at the two spots saw reported malfunctioning of the EVMs which caused temporary chaos.
