Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha and Maharashtra assembly elections, Maharashtra Congress President Ashok Chavan on Thursday asserted that the upcoming Maharashtra assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the state will be held together.

While speaking before a gathering in Aurangabad, Chavan claimed that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will dismiss the Vidhan Sabha on February 28. However, CM Fadnavis has rubbished the claims made by Ashok Chavan.

CM Fadnavis clarified that the cabinet won’t be dismissed and the Maharashtra assembly election will be held in its own time.
