Maharashtra Minister Satej Patil tests positive for COVID-19

Minister of State for Home Satej Patil tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, February 9. He has been hospitalised. He took to his Twitter to inform everyone about his health. He also urged all those who came in his contact in the last few days to get themselves tested for the infection. Recently Home Minister Anil Deshmukh also tested positive for COVID-19 and his undergoing treatment.

"I have tested positive for COVID-19. My health condition is good and have started medication as advised by doctors. Soon I will recover and return at your service." Patil tweeted in Marathi.

Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Dadaji Bhuse, Eknath Shinde, Uday Samant, Prajakt Tanpure, Sunil Kedar, Balasaheb Patil, Varsha Gaikwad, Jitendra Awhad, Ashok Chavan, Dhananjay Munde, Aslam Shaikh, Abdul Sattar and Sanjay Bansode are some of the ministers in Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's cabinet to have tested positive for COVID-19.
