Mahatma Gandhi's grandson Arun Gandhi passes away

Arun Gandhi, the grandson of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, passed away in Kolhapur on Tuesday. He was 89 years old. The Indian Express gave the information that he passed away due to a long illness, quoting his family. Arun Gandhi was a social activist and a famous writer.

Talking to PTI, his son Tushar Gandhi informed that Arun Gandhi's body will be cremated in Kolhapur.

Arun Gandhi was the son of Manilal Gandhi and Sushila Mashruwala. He was born on 14 April 1934 in Durban. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Mahatma Gandhi, Arun Gandhi made his way in the social field.
