Phones, jewellery stolen during Aditya Thackeray's Worli rally

On Thursday, October 3, Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray held a rally prior to filing his nomination for contesting from the Worli constituency. The rally consisted of thousands of Shiv Sena workers who celebrated the nomination of the Yuva Sena leader. However, amidst the celebrations, several people in the rally complained of being robbed and had lost their mobile phones, jewellery along with cash.

Thackeray's rally began at around 10:00 am and was joined by thousands of workers. However, taking advantage of the crowd, the thieves flipped mobile phones from various people whereas some people complained about their rings and chains being missing. 

According to the reports, more than 13 gold chains were stolen, whereas 12 people complained about losing their mobile phones.

A senior Shiv Sena leader Ashish Chemburkar complained that he had lost ₹40,000 while he was walking in the rally. However, the police have stated that none of them has filed a complaint about losing anything.
