BJP MP Kirit Somaiya manhandles a hawker in Mulund

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kirit Somaiya allegedly manhandled a hawker in Mulund’s Sambhaji Maidan. Somaiya tore and threw the money given by the customer at the hawker. 

Around 8:00 PM, Kirit Somaiya threatened Sachin Kharat, a vegetable vendor, to stop the sale of his vegetables and asked him not to continue business there. The BJP MP also took ₹300 from him, given by the customer and tore the notes. After all the harassment, the hawker was also fined ₹1200. 

After this incident, Sachin Kharat went to the police station and filed a complaint against Kirit Somaiya. The police have initiated an investigation in this case. Earlier, Somaiya was in trouble for threatening an officer in Navghar Police Station.
