Sharad Pawar gets discharged from the hospital; doctors advise rest

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, and doctors have informed that Sharad Pawar is in good health and has been advised to take rest at home.

The information was shared by NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik on Twitter. His message read, "Our party President Sharad Pawar saheb has been discharged from hospital today and is in good health. He will be resting at home as advised by his doctors."

 

As per reports, Sharad Pawar underwent two surgeries a few days back after he reported gall bladder related ailment. Doctors stated that he was suffering from severe abdominal pain due to the same, however, his condition has been improving post the surgery. Furthermore, during his visits to the clinic, Sharad Pawar also developed a mouth ulcer, which was surgically removed on Sunday, April 25, 2021. 

He was permitted discharge after his health improved.

Sharing more, Nawab Malik said that the party president Sharad Pawar has been in good health, and as per doctor's advice, he will rest at home for the next few days. 

On the other hand, the state reported shortage of oxygen and understanding the seriousness of the situation, Sharad Pawar, who is the president of Vasantdada Sugar Institute (VSI), instructed the sugar factories in the state to produce and supply oxygen. VSI is a leading body of sugar factories in Maharashtra and upon receiving the directives, authorities have sent letters to 190 co-operative and private factories in the state for the same. It is said that factories that are closed have been urged to purchase oxygen kits and supply them to hospitals.
