Bhandup - In order to get the ticket for BMC-2017 civic elections, interested candidates are thronging Bhandup for two wards. Right from MLA Jeetendra Awhad, opposition leader Sanjay Bhoir, Shiv Sena's MLA Ashok Patil, MNS former MLA Shishir Shinde, Congress former MLA Shyam Sawant to his son Ritesh Sawant are coming to Bhandup to seek blessings of Maa Durga.
