Mumbai- In the recently concluded civic body elections in state, the BJP has emerged victorious with flying colours. To this, MNS honcho Raj Thackeray has reacted with "This is not the victory of demonetisation. This is the trumph of old notes." The BJP has scored in 22 municipal councils, with 51 BJP chairpersons of municipal councils elected. When demonetisation was announced, Raj Thackeray had sarcastically inquired if the government was planning to distribute the traditional 'apta' leaves in the upcoming elections.
