Wadala - Shiv Sena revolted against party’s decision to field Yuva Sena president Aditya Thackeray’s close aide Amey Ghole from ward no. 178 from the area. They were so agitated that they locked the Sena shakha and vowed not to open the shakha till a proper candidate is not given from this ward. A fortnight ago, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray had convened a meeting of party office-bearers from Wadala and had assured them no office-bearer from the Yuva Sena will be given a ticket. Still, it was given to Amey Ghole by suppressing the revolt of Sena workers. This has enraged the Sena cadre from here and they have asked that they do not know their party candidate (Ghole) and asked how could an opportunistic person bag the Sena ticket.
