Sena wants Lokayukta, opposition leaders in standing committee meeting

Malabar Hill - A meeting of ministers was held at Chief Minister's official residence Varsha on Friday. In the meeting, Shiv Sena leaders sought permission to allow the Lokayukta, media and opposition party leaders in the meeting of the civic standing committee.

Present in the meeting representing Sena were Eknath Shinde, Deepak Sawant and Diwakar Raote. Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray stated that since the BJP was all about transparency in civic operations, the party should be willing to walk the talk and accede to their demands.
