Mumbai - The BMC elections have been announced and now political analysts are analysing if the BJP and the Shiv Sena would tie up the alliance. The BJP will be giving a tough fight to the Shiv Sena for seat sharing. Many of the private companies are doing a survey on the much-awaited coalition. According to the survey, Shiv Sena will be in loss if both the parties go for the coalition. Survey also says if Shiv Sena contests alone then the party will be able to cater 30-40 seats. This survey was done in the last week of December.

Situation 1 (If Sena contests without an alliance)

Shiv Sena - 105 to 115 seats

BJP - 60 to 80 seats

Congress - 30 to 40 seats

MNS and NCP - Less than 10 seats

MIM - 3 to 5 seats

Situation 2 (If BJP and Sena go for an alliance)

Shiv Sena - 80 to 90 seats

BJP- 50 to 60 seats

Congress- 40 to 50 seats

This statistics shows that Shiv Sena will face more losses if it ties up with the existing partner. However, the last decision will be taken by Sena president Uddhav Thackeray.
