Want to contest elections? Build Toilet

Mumbai- Probable candidates are seen filing up forms to contest BMC elections. However, there is one condition. Whoever willing to contest the elections has to submit the form which states that the said candidate has a toilet in his/ her home.

Not only this, they will also have to submit the letter of ward’s assistant commissioner stating the same.

“If the candidate does not have toilet in his/ her house then he/she should at least have the access of public toilet,” said Sanjog Kabre, Assistant Commissioner, E ward.
