Amidst the constant attacks from the opposition party regarding PM Narendra Modi's decision to demonetise the ₹500 and ₹1000 notes, we asked people around Mumbai about their views on the same.
When asked about if the demonetisation stint by the Modi government would affect the outcome of Lok Sabha 2019 elections, some of them were skeptical about it whereas some of the youngsters said that the 'people with black money' will be cautious to not vote BJP.
A few voters even pointed out that the public did not utter a single word about the effects of demonetisation since they knew it was for the greater good.
However, the majority of the people agreed that the move by Modi-led government had influenced a rise in prices and had caused trouble for them.
