For the upcoming Senate elections, Yuva Sena president Aaditya Thackeray has asked corporators not to leave Mumbai until March 25, 2018.

Thackeray had called all corporators around 9:00 am at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s house where they were given instructions regarding Senate elections.

As Senate elections are considered to be junior Thackeray’s prestige issue, he not only assigned the responsibility to corporators but also asked them to concentrate on elections.

Thackeray told corporators to buckle up against Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) who will be contesting this election with full grit and strength. He also ordered that no corporator should go to his native place for Ram Navami or any other reason which falls on March 25, 2018.

Yuva Sena will be fielding 10 candidates in this Senate election and in total, 62,500 voters have enrolled for the same.

Last elections, out of 10, eight candidates were selected. This year, Aditya Thackeray has decided to take over all 10 seats.
