The experience of running for something, for someone is surely priceless. In an attempt to do something for someone in need, every year Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) collaborates with an NGO to which all collected funds are donated. Aarambh is one such step that perseveres to bring in participation that benefits the NGOs they collaborate with.

Aarambh is a social marathon presented by the Social Responsibility Forum. Over the years, it has grown from strength to strength and has been supported by many sponsors for its diligent causes.

This year, AARAMBH is battling the issue of drug abuse and has also tied up with ‘Apne Aap Women's Collective’ (AAWC), supporting the cause of Women Rehabilitation from Trafficking. The assigned venue for Aarambh has always been Bandstand, Bandra, starting and ending at Taj Lands, a beautiful locale which attracts a lot of participants.

In its previous season, Aarambh received a footfall of over 1,500 participants and has been increasing steadily each year.

The marathon will be held on January 28, 7:30 AM onwards.

So tie your shoes, stretch those muscles and get together for a wonderful cause, embodying the true spirit of change because it’s not just a marathon, it’s an emotion!
