The Mumbai International Airport is celebrating the third edition of Jaya HE's carnival series ‘Aaghosham 2021' which celebrates the art, culture, and people of the serenely beautiful state of Kerala. The carnival will bring together audiences from different parts of the globe who can explore the unexplored indigenous elements such as its cultural diversity, including history, society, art & crafts, people, food, festivals, textiles, tourism and architecture of Kerala.

‘Aaghosham’ denotes ‘Celebration’ in Malayalam, the local language of Kerala – a state famously known for its backwaters, elegant boathouses and delicately spiced cuisine. Additionally, the carnival will engage with over 200 children between the age group of 12-14 years from a BMC School in a playful storytelling format. Staging various elements each day through infographics, videos, photographs, live talks with renowned experts, the day-long forums are divided into storytelling sessions, activities, and Instagram Live sessions, conducted on CSMIA and Jaya HE’s social media platforms. The audience will also get a glimpse into the world of a performer, filmmaker, sustainable designer and chef from Kerala, along with the enthusiastic host - RJ Rohini Ramanathan, to name a few.

Jaya HE’ Museum is the largest public art initiative in India.  An initiative that brought together by 100 artists, 1,000 artisans, designers, architects, art historians and conservators, to work together to distil and interpret India culturally, aesthetically, historically and socially. Mumbai international airport is the first of its kind to present a display of the most beautiful hand-crafted trunks, as an introductory guide to the treasures that one can carry home. Redefining the idea of an airport, GVK MIAL is a gateway for some to enter the country/state and experience India’s rich cultural heritage. Jaya HE is an initiative, not only to showcase and safeguard countries culture but also their cultural resource.
