At the elite division match of the MDFA league, Air India beat Kenkre FC 2-0. The match played at the Cooperage ground was a high adrenaline match as the first half ended goalless. Vijay Shetty and Aaron D’costa scored the winning goals for Air India.
In the division 1 match, St Joseph’s FC drew 2-2 with Venzia Virar.
In a first division encounter at St Xavier’s ground, Parel, Seaview Sports Club beat Kenkre U 16 3-0 in a match played under floodlights.
Tushar Kamani scored two goals and Teja Bagayatkar scored one goal. Kenkre FC played much better in the second half but could not break the defences of the opposition.
