Bhandup- Shraddha Lavand (18) made her father, police constable Dilip Lawand proud by getting selected for Under 18 rugby championship. This competition will take place in Dubai on 2nd December.
Sharaddha hails from Satara and resides in Mulund. Since child, she was fond of sports and has bagged awards on district and state level. Finally in 2009 she got her break and got selected in junior Rugby championship. Later she got selected for Indian rugby team and then there was no looking back for her.
