Reliance Jio launches free of cost 'JioPhone'

Reliance Industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani, announced the Jio feature phone at the company’s AGM in Mumbai. Reliance Jio’s new flagship handset will be called ‘JioPhone’ which will be available to people for free but they’ll have to deposit an amount of INR 1500 which will be refunded to them after three years.

It is made in India by the young Indian," Esha Ambani, Director of Reliance Jio.

Pre-booking for the phone will start on August 24 with the phone being available September onwards.
