Shrenu Parikh, a popular tv actress from India, who has been a part of many shows recently tested positive for COVID-19. The news regarding the same was shared by the actress herself, where she took to social media, on Wednesday, July 15, with a message stating that she is now in Gujarat and "recovering in a hospital."
Her caption read, "Even after being so careful if it can get to you then imagine the power of this invisible demon we are fighting with...pls pls be very careful and save ourselves!"
Her career started with Gulaal and share gained popularity with shows like Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna and Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka, Ishqbaaz, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?... Ek Baar Phir and others.
Besides Shrenu, many other actors from TV town have tested positive for COVID-19. Renowned name amongst the youth, Parth Samthaan, also shared the message on social media, following which Balaji Telefilms stopped the shoot of the popular Star Plus show, Kasautii Zindagi Kay.
Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also tested positive and shared the information on Twitter. While Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan are being treated at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital, Aishwarya is undergoing treatment at home, with daughter Aradhya.
