With a view to increase Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport's (BEST) reach, comfort and make the 'best' of its services affordable to each and every Mumbaikar, the committee of BEST and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced reformative prices and services on Tuesday, June 25.

The 15 fare slabs have been reduced to 4 and the pricing will be as follows:

| Up to 10 | 10 | 13 |
| Up to 15 | 15 | 19 |
| More than 15 | 20 | 25 |
Moreover, 500 electric buses will be added and the existing fleet of 3000 buses will be increased to 6000. There will even be some mini buses and some standing only buses. Talking about the same Yuva Sena Chief Aditya Thackeray said "BEST will now be faster than fast food and cheaper than it"
