According to the latest reports, the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) will be launching a 24-hour electric AC bus service from Thursday, April 7 in order to connect Mumbai Airport T2 with T1.

Based on accounts, those travelling between the two airports can board these AC buses which will have a frequency of 20-30 minutes. Manoj Varade, BEST PRO, was quoted in narratives elaborating on how the bus fare between the two terminals will be INR 50 per ticket. The prices will be inclusive of luggage.

It has been reported that the buses will be accessible to fliers throughout the week as well as round-the-clock. Varade added that it will benefit a large number of citizens who need to travel between airports in order to change flights.

While there are BEST bus stops outside both terminals, these are for routes that ferry passengers to other parts of Mumbai and its suburbs. With this new service, the two terminals will be connected, passengers will no longer have to spend extra money to travel between the two terminals.

There have been many instances when passengers have ended up at the wrong terminals and then have to toil to find auto rickshaws or taxis. With this newly added service, travel between the two terminals will become seamless.
