Gujjar Aandolan affects Mumbai-Delhi rail service; Various trains cancelled

The Gurjar community in North India has been demanding reservation in Haryana and Rajasthan, due to which, they have been protesting by stalling the trains by sitting on the railway tracks. Accordingly, for the next few days, various trains between Mumbai and Delhi will be cancelled including trains like Rajdhani Express.

In response, to manage the crowd, Western Railways has decided to run train 09027/09028 between Bandra-Sawai Madhopur for the passengers.

The Mumbai-Amritsar and the Mumbai-Dehradun trains have been cancelled and won't be running on February 11. On February 12, the Mumbai-Dehradun train along with the weekly Valsad-Haridwar train has been cancelled. Five trains have been cancelled on February 13.
