The Indian Railway Catering and Transport Corporation (IRCTC) will serve you with Ukdiche modak, for 10 days during Ganesh festival.Ukdiche modak is a popular Indian sweet dumpling prepared with steamed rice flour, stuffed with coconut and jaggery.

The Tejas Express was launched on 21 May by railway minister Suresh Prabhu, and became an instant hit, amongst people owing to its headphone and automatic doors. But the numbers dipped after a month. However, as per the records, the number of commuters increase during Ganesh festival, and so the Indian Railway authorities are pinning their hope by serving modak.
