MMRDA Announces 20% Discount on ‘Mumbai One’ Tickets via BHIM UPI; Scheme Valid Until December 31

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has launched the Mumbai One app as part of its integrated ticketing system. Through this app, commuters can now purchase e-tickets for Metro, local trains, BEST buses, and bus services across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, all from a single platform.

This unified ticketing system makes travel easier for passengers, eliminating the need to buy separate tickets for different modes of transport. Now, MMRDA has introduced an additional benefit: commuters purchasing a ticket of at least INR 20 via BHIM UPI on the Mumbai One app will receive a 20% discount. This offer is valid until December 31.

Commuters in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region often travel using a combination of trains, Metro, monorail, BEST buses, and buses from five municipal corporations. Earlier, they had to buy separate tickets for each mode of transport, which was time-consuming and inconvenient. To address this, MMRDA worked for several years to implement an integrated ticketing system, which was finally launched in October. The facility was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Through the Mumbai One app, passengers can now travel across monorail, Metro, local trains, BEST, and municipal corporation buses using a single shared ticket. Purchasing shared tickets is now simpler, and with the new 20% discount for BHIM UPI payments on tickets worth INR 20 or more, passengers can save on travel across all these services.

MMRDA has encouraged commuters to take advantage of this facility. For any complaints, questions, or issues related to the Mumbai One app, passengers can contact the helpdesk at 1800-268-4242.
