Mumbai's CSMT platform 16-17 to remain shut for 85 days for revamp - Details Here

Central Railway (CR) will operate Traffic & Power Block at Platform no 16 & 17 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai, in connection with redevelopment work being carried out by Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA).

Foundational work and necessary activity o­n platform no 16 & 17 will be carried out during the block. The duration of block will be for a period of 85 days i.e from February 1, 2026, to April 26, 2026.

During the block period, train operations from Platform no 16 & 17 will remain suspended till completion of work and handing over of the platform by RLDA for traffic operations.

•Train no 22144  Bidar - CSMT Express / Train No 22108 LATUR-CSMT    Express                                

•Train no 22120 Madgaon-CSMT Tejas Express

Short Terminated at Thane till further advice:

•Train no 12134 Mangaluru-CSMT Express

These blocks are essential for infrastructure development. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
