Mumbai: Citizens demand ring-route bus services for Malad-Goregaon

Locals have demanded that a ring-route bus service should be started between Malad East and Goregaon East. Former corporators have alleged that one and a half months have passed since the general manager gave instructions to start this bus route, but the bus service on this route has not yet started. Malad and Goregaon are the most populous parts of Mumbai.

There is no bus service available between Malad East and Goregaon East, so the residents have to suffer. Due to the intermediate stations, the trains are very crowded and the rickshaw fares are also high. Therefore, the locals are demanding bus service.

The locals demanded that this bus service should be started from Appapada, Kismet Medical, Mahalkari Marg, Mallika Hotel, Vasant Valley, Dindoshi Bus Station to Goregaon East in Malad East area.

Accordingly, former corporator Vinod Mishra had also given a letter to the general manager. After that, the general manager had instructed to start this bus route in January. But the bus service has not started yet. Therefore, Mishra has demanded that this bus service should be started immediately.
