Mumbaikars have been waiting for AC local trains for ages now. With the heat taking the life out of citizens, air-conditioned trains have become a necessity.
Good news, AC trains will be functional September onwards. With one train set to run, nine more have been lined up for the coming months.
A Rs 54 crore worth AC train was set up in the Kurla car shed. Western Railway is soon to roll out their trains.
