Nagpur-Mumbai Nandigram Express catches fire

One of the engines of Nagpur-Mumbai Nandigram Express caught fire. Due to this, the train had to take a halt for more than four hours at Deulgaon Avchar village in Parbhani district of Maharashtra.

Railway Pravasi Sena head and volunteer Santosh Somani told PTI that the train was Nandigram Express running from Nagpur towards Mumbai and it was scheduled to reach Aurangabad at 9.30 pm, but at around 8 pm one of the engines caught fire. The train had two diesel engines attached to it.

It took firemen two hours to douse the fire. There have been no casualties reported in this incident.
