The Central Railway (CR) to operate a 5-hour traffic night block and power block on the Up slow line between Mulund and Thane stations at midnight on November 3, 4 and 5 from 11:30 pm to 4:30 am. This block is being done to carry out repairs on Kopri bridge which lies on the Eastern Express Highway.
The Kopri bridge is 100-m wide which runs over the railway tracks between Mulund and Thane. The block will lead to diversion and several suburban trains will be cancelled.
During the block period, Up slow locals leaving Thane will be diverted to Up fast line between Thane and Vikhroli will not be available at Nahur and Kanjurmarg. Meanwhile, locals leaving from CSTM for Thane between 10:38 pm and 11:04 pm will be terminated and operate till Kurla.
