Now the senior citizens do not have to wait to get an Adhaar Card just so they can get their railway reservations confirmed. As a matter of fact, they can easily avail the Senior Citizen concession even in the absence of an Adhaar Card. Moreover, instead of presenting it, they can now give any document that verifies their age.
Earlier, it was mandated by the railways since 1st April 2017 that the senior citizens will have to present their Adhaar Cards so as to get confirmed reservations and to avail all the railway related reservations.
