Attention! No water supply in Thane on April 18-19

Water is supplied through Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Mumbra, Kalwa, Majivada, Manpada and Wagle (some areas) Ward Committee in Thane Municipal Corporation area. Due to taking up urgent repair work of Barvi Gravity Channel from Katai Naka to Sheel Tank under Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation Water Supply Scheme, water supply will remain shut for a total of 24 hours from Thursday April 18, 12.00 pm to Friday, April 19, 12.00 pm.

During the said shutdown period, water supply will be completely shut off for 24 hours in all areas of Diva, Mumbra (except part of Ward No. 26 and 31) and Kalwa Ward Committee under Thane Municipal Corporation and Rupadevi Pada, Kisan Nagar No. 2, Nehru Nagar and Manpada Ward Committee in Rupa Devi Pada, Kisan Nagar No. 2, Nehrunagar and Manpada Ward Committee. Citizens should please note that water supply will be at low pressure for the next 1 to 2 days after the water supply starts.

On behalf of the Municipal Corporation, citizens are being appealed to cooperate with the Thane Municipal Corporation by using water sparingly during the said reduction period.
