Indelible ink yet to reach banks

Mumbai - Demonetisation has taken a toll on everyone. The problem of serpentine queues at the banks has been compounded by people repeatedly joining the queue to withdraw money. The government's solution to this conundrum - banks to use indelible ink to mark client's fingers to monitor repetitive transactions. However, this noble move is yet to take off smoothly, as the indelible ink vials are yet to reach the banks via official channels. So, some pro-active banks have started the scheme with their own solutions, while there are banks which have not yet started implementing the scheme.
