World Bank CEO opens up purse for Mumbai

Mumbai - Mumbai city has a new fan and it's none other than World Bank CEO Kristalina Georgieva who paid a visit to Mumbai on Tuesday.

She not only travelled on a local Western Railway train but also visited one of the city's landmarks - the Dharavi slums. In her own words, she fell in love with Mumbai city. She expressed this new found affection for Mumbai in a press conference held on Tuesday. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has declared that the World Bank will provide a fresh loan the for MUTP-3 project to ensure safer commutes to the Mumbaikar. Well, it seems, that World Bank CEO Kristalina Georgieva is keen on ringing in good days for Mumbaikars.
