Prices of LPG to fall by INR 200

The Government of India has decided to cut the price of a 14 kg LPG cylinder by INR 200 on Tuesday, August 29. The move is aimed at easing the pressure of rising cost of living due to inflation ahead of key elections next year, both in states as well as Lok Sabha.

A day before Rakhi Purnima, the Modi government has given a big gift to women across the country. Making a big announcement, Union Minister Anurag Thakur has said that from August 29, Wednesday, the price of domestic gas cylinders will be reduced by INR 200.

The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders will be cut for consumers and oil marketing companies such as Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).
